The taxi stand in front of PIER 39 will be closed to all taxis on Thursday February 14th from 3 PM until 2 AM late that night. It will reopen as usual on February 15th.
For the IBM event at Pier 39, the cab stand will be located in front of Pier 41 (Little Embarcadero), indicated in Green on the attached map.

PIER 39 will be hosting a private party for 8,000 to 10,000 guests on Thursday, February 14th from 18:30-21:30 as the final night event for the IBM Think Convention. IBM has arranged for motor coach transportation from Moscone Center for its guests beginning at 18:00 that evening. Guests will likely be using taxis and rideshare companies to get to and from PIER 39.
